Getting up was announced today for 01:30 am. At 2 am I set off for the Saar loop, about 2.5 hours drive. The German Roamers in their book made the location tasty for me.
A look into my weather app encouraged me to take the trip on me, unstable weather and light fog was the order of the day. Unfortunately I didn't find the fog, it was a bit too warm but the weather played along. More but less intensive rain accompanied the shooting. I was there at 04:30 am and after setting up my cam the first shots were taken in the beginning blue hour.
The sky and its colors changed constantly starting with a deep blue, over violet up to a rainy grey.
With the increasingly worse weather conditions it became also more and more difficult to protect the camera and the lens against the rain!
At 09:30 am I was back home with some very nice pictures in my luggage.
