Extern Stones

This weekend I was with the photo friends Siegburg on the way to the Extern Stones in the Teutoburger forest. We left at 02 o'clock in the morning, the goal was to reach the stones about 1 hour before sunrise. So there was enough time to find a nice position for the first pictures. After we had caught our sunrise we had breakfast. Afterwards we went to the nearby Herrmanns monument and to the open-air museum Detmold. The weather played well the whole day and in the late afternoon we went home with many photos in our luggage! Here are some photos of this wonderful day! Enjoy!
